Every score, lowest first: 0 · 4.5 · 5.25 · 8 · 8.5 · 8.67 · 9 · 9 · 9 · 9 · 9 · 9.5 · 9.5 · 9.5 · 10 → median 9.00
15 people who reviewed NYCE wrote a mark out of 10 in their post. Those are the numbers above, all of them, and the median is the middle one. 3 of the 15 came in at 6 or less, the lowest a 0. The median itself is pinned between 8 and 9.5: that band is where the median of a fresh sample this size would land about 96% of the time. It is not where the scores themselves fall — 11 of these 15 do.
Another 8 review posts named NYCE in the title but have since been deleted from Reddit. They are excluded from every number on this page, not just from the quotes below — so 36 of 44 (82%) is what any of this rests on. Deleted posts get no link: a dead one reads as a made-up one.
7 quotesWhat reviewers actually wrote
Pulled from the bodies of the reviews these numbers are counted from — the ones whose author scored the product 6 or less first, then the ones who scored it 8 or more, each side newest first, up to six a side. The quote is the illustration; the score next to it is the evidence, and both come from the same person. If one side is short, that is the data: only 74 of the site's 739 scores are 6 or lower, so low-scored quotes are scarce everywhere. Each quote links back to the original post — a deleted post is left out rather than linked to a blank page. Sentences are picked by script and checked to read the same way on their own as they did in context.
**Taste**: This is like cardboard/wood into burnt and bitter that rests on your tongue.

**Taste**: Sweet banana with these and piney undertones and a menthol like effect that give it that cool ice cream like features, I think from alpha-phellandrene.

**Conclusion**: Nyce has always been a front-runner for rosin in the NY market, with widespread availability and competitive pricing.

This is my fourth jar from NYCE.

**Conclusion**: The effects are a good medium to strong sativa, not as intense as the orange cream pop rosin from them.

This is discussion volume, not quality — a recall or a controversy pushes the line up just as much as praise does. Monthly mentions across posts and comments, Jan 2025 through Jun 2026.
Mentions over the last six months ran 295% above the first six. That gap is larger than this brand's own month-to-month swings — we test 299 brands at once, and the set we label has a 95% chance of containing no false call at all.
